ABOUT PIONEER · SINCE 2002

Founded in 2002 and based in Rizhao, Shandong, Pioneer manufactures and supplies two- and three-wheeled motorcycles, low-speed electric vehicles and related spare parts. We serve importers, distributors and brands with vehicles, spare parts, and OEM, private-label and design services.

What We Do

Pioneer's business spans vehicle manufacturing, export sales, product development and spare parts support. We also undertake OEM and private-label projects.

Our facility covers a modern industrial park of more than 300 mu (~20 hectares), with around 500 employees, including 78 technical specialists, and an annual capacity of about 150,000 complete vehicles.

Development experience includes an R&D operation in Jinan focused on vehicles for export, new products and improvements to existing models, plus proprietary products and patents. Attention to market needs, technical development and manufacturing detail guides our work.

Our History

About the company's development history

Military Heritage

Founded as Shandong Yuhua Machinery Factory, the company was one of the state-owned defense enterprises established during China's Third Front Construction period. Decades of military manufacturing experience built a strong foundation in precision manufacturing, quality management, and engineering capabilities.

Industry Transformation

To adapt to changing market conditions, the company joined China Qingqi Group and established China Qingqi Group Rizhao Motorcycle Company. This marked a major transition from defense manufacturing to motorcycle production. The successful launch of the Qingqi Yuma QM100 motorcycle opened a new chapter in the company’s development.

Brand Launch

The company officially introduced the PIONEER brand and obtained independent import and export rights. By entering the U.S. market, PIONEER began its journey toward international brand development.

Independent Growth

The company was officially renamed Shandong Pioneer Motorcycle Co., Ltd. , establishing a more comprehensive business system covering R&D, manufacturing, sales, and international trade. The company continued to strengthen its brand competitiveness and global market presence.

Global Expansion

The company continuously enhanced product quality and technical capabilities, obtaining international certifications including EC, EPA, and DOT , as well as European emission certifications from Euro II to Euro V . Its products have been exported to the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and other global markets.

Innovation Upgrade

The company continues to advance product innovation and technology development, pursuing Euro V+ certification and independently developing its first 450cc high-displacement motorcycle. This marks a new stage in PIONEER’s transformation toward higher-value products and advanced manufacturing.
